Opening Soon With Strict Covid-19 Measures

We hope that everyone has been keeping safe and well during these strange and difficult times.

The Coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on our opening plans for Little Seaside Town, and although it has been difficult, our family has been working extremely hard to ensure we were ready to open as soon as we were advised we can do so.

On Friday 14th August 2020, it was announced that soft/indoor play centres could reopen in England. A huge step in the right direction for Little Seaside Town! We are currently reviewing the latest legislation, with the aim of opening very soon with safety precautions in place.

Little Seaside Town’s main priority will be ensuring that guests have an enjoyable and safe visit to our play centre. As part of our Covid-19 management plan, we aim to initially open with considerably reduced capacity for all play sessions, with additional cleaning of all areas and clear guidance and facilities in place to promote hand hygiene.

It is extremely important that we ensure all guests have adequate space to explore freely around our centre, enjoy themselves comfortably, with the ability to social distance from others in a clean environment. We recognise that children can be unpredictable and not necessarily understand the rules relating to social distancing, so we aim to limit capacity considerably to ensure that they have plenty of space to explore, play and have fun, without the worry of coming into close contact with other children.

In addition to extra cleaning, we are purchasing a fogging machine which is designed to destroy 99.9% of harmful airborne bacteria and infectious organisms that rest on all surfaces. The machine we have chosen is non-toxic to people/children/food. We plan to use the fogging machine at the end of each working day as an additional measure to control the virus.

Little Seaside Town will give clear updates and information over the coming months, of all the measures we have in place to reduce the risk of Covid-19 contamination, this will of course be in line with Government guidelines specific to our industry. With our website live, customers will now be able to see out our session times, prices, booking forms etc. We are currently discussing our costings and how we may need to adjust/increase our admission price slightly to cover additional expenses and reduced numbers . As you can appreciate, our opening has been set back several months, for us and many play centres across the country, times have been financially strained and so we need to ensure that it is feasible for our business to function at a reduced capacity.

We so look forward to finally opening our doors to you and your little people! Thank you all very much for all the support so far. We cannot wait to welcome you, take care and we hope to see you soon!
